1. Website Use

By accessing this portfolio, you agree to use it for lawful purposes. Unauthorized scraping, malware distribution, or attempting to breach the security of this site is strictly prohibited.

2. Service Provision (B2B)

The following terms apply to all professional engineering services, consultancy, and software delivery provided by Alessio Miccichè:

• Best Efforts: Services are performed to the best of my professional ability (inspanningsverbintenis). No specific result is guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing.
• Browser Support: Support is guaranteed for the last two major versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Legacy browsers are not supported.
• Data Provision: The client is responsible for timely delivery of necessary assets (API keys, credentials, designs). Delays caused by the client are at the client's risk.

3. Payments & Late Fees

Invoices must be paid within 30 days. Failure to pay on time results in an automatic default. In such cases, a late interest rate of 10% per year and a fixed compensation fee of 10% (min. €75) will be charged.

4. Intellectual Property & Licensing

All source code, designs, and documentation remain my exclusive intellectual property. The client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software only after full payment has been received.

5. Liability & Third Parties

My liability is limited to the invoice value of the project. I am not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or failures caused by third-party services (e.g., AWS, Stripe, hosting providers). Updates required due to third-party "breaking changes" are considered additional work (meerwerk).

6. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Belgian Law. Any disputes shall be settled exclusively by the courts of the judicial district of Limburg, Hasselt division.
